Privacy & Data
How we handle
a family's trust.
A talmid's situation is private. This page explains, in plain language, how information is used to run the program.
Legal note: this is plain-language placeholder copy. Final policy must be reviewed by counsel.
What We Collect
When someone applies, we may collect names, contact information, relationship to the talmid, location, learning background, scheduling needs, and anything the family chooses to share. [policy TBD — exact fields to be finalized]
How We Use It
We use the information to contact the family, understand the situation, match or form a chaburah, arrange setup, and coordinate learning. We do not sell or rent family or talmid information. [policy TBD]
Reaching the Talmid
We contact the family or referrer first. We do not reach the talmid directly without permission from the family or applicant.
Minors' Information
If the talmid is under 18, additional consent and privacy handling may apply. [policy TBD — counsel review required]
Retention & Deletion
Records are kept only as needed to operate the program and meet legal or organizational obligations. [policy TBD — retention and deletion process required]
Data Sharing
Information may be shared only with the people needed to operate the chaburah, such as coordinators, mashpi'im, or technical support, and only as appropriate. [policy TBD]
