The Chaburah

Not an online class.
A real chaburah, built around him.

The goal is not to send content into a hospital room. The goal is to keep a talmid inside the rhythm of learning, with a mashpia and a group that know he belongs.

What It Is

A chaburah that reaches where he is.

Illness may keep a talmid out of the beis midrash. It should not erase his place in it.

Amud Aleph builds small live chaburos for bochurim and yungeleit who are away from their regular learning. Each chaburah is matched by level and guided by a mashpia who leads with consistency, dignity, and care.

This is learning with a group. This is a seder with a shape. This is a place that is still his.

What Makes It Real

The pieces that make the chaburah real.

01

A dedicated mashpia

The same mashpia anchors the chaburah whenever possible, learns the talmid's name, and teaches with him — not at him.

02

A small matched group

The chaburah is built around level, background, and pace. No crowd. No disappearing.

03

Live learning

The talmid joins something happening now, with a real group and a real leader.

04

Recordings when needed

If treatment or weakness gets in the way, the learning can still be reached.

05

A prepared setup when needed

A tablet or learning setup may be provided or arranged when appropriate.

Content gate: device rules, recording access, technical support, return policy, and exact program setup to be confirmed before launch.

What They Learn

The learning follows his level.

A talmid should not be dropped into a generic curriculum. The chaburah should meet him close to where he already was — his level, his background, his strength, and his schedule.

Track A

[Limud / masechta / level pending]

For talmidim continuing a serious seder with a matched group.

Track B

[Limud / masechta / level pending]

For talmidim who need structure, clarity, and steady rhythm.

Track C

[Limud / masechta / level pending]

For talmidim whose strength or schedule requires a more flexible pace.

Content gate: do not publish specific tracks, masechtos, sedarim, schedules, or levels until confirmed.

How It Works

From first call to first seder.

1

Apply

Someone close to the talmid starts the application.

2

We call the family first

A coordinator learns the situation, answers questions, and confirms permission before reaching the talmid.

3

We match the chaburah

The team looks at level, schedule, strength, and fit.

4

He joins the learning

The setup is arranged, the mashpia leads, and the talmid steps into a chaburah built for him.

Content gate: timing language (same day / within a week) is not promised until confirmed.

What You Need

Less than you think.

·

A quiet moment

Not a perfect room. Not a perfect day. Just enough space to learn when he can.

·

A connection

If setup or connectivity is needed, a coordinator will explain what is possible.

·

A little information

The application helps us understand the talmid, his learning background, and the situation.

·

No payment

There is no cost to the family.

Tell us about the talmid.

You do not need every detail ready. Start with what you know. A coordinator will help with the rest.
